overview
this project was for the kompany uw, the university of washington's first and only k-pop dance company. as a graphic designer, my job was to create social media assets by working with my team to make a concept.

deciding on the concept
i was heavily inspired by cctv camera surveillance footage, mugshots, crime, and wanted posters. i introduced my pinterest moodboard to the rest of my team and worked with the photographers to get the photos i needed for my graphics.

i wanted to design a crime evidence folder for each member to show the roster of who was in the cover, so i took mugshots of each person and wrote a description matching the seventeen member's part they danced.

for the group instagram story design, i was inspired by a pinterest post i saw where the designer decided to use a ripped paper effect to add a mysterious look.
for individual the instagram story design, i asked the photographers to take photos from a high angle to mimic surveillance footage. using adobe photoshop, i added the surveillance camera filter by making the photo green and added the bars to mimic the flicker banding from real security cameras.

i kept the thumbnail simple by using the original thunder logo along with green lightning elements.
i design the end card to credit everyone who was involved in the project. i continued with the surveillance footage theme, but used white boxes to point out each dance team member’s face and added their names and the seventeen member they covered. in the bottom left corner, i credited everyone who was on the kreative team.
